Breeding List

    Notes:

From now on, this list will be the most up to date breeding list I own. Please PM to inquire about something if your name should be on the list but isn't or vice versa!
These are listed in no particular order of retrieval. I am at liberty to switch people around depending on whose eggs are ready first, etc.
The queue will also be dealt with in no particular order! Just because I have one above another doesn't necessarily mean I'll do that one first~
Private breeding projects/gifts for friends won't be shown here. If a list is included here, then you're free to request to be put on the list!

Breeding Information

    Notes:

Most breeding-related information taken from Venus' Advanced Breeding Guide!
If you want to look for a Pokemon, Ctrl+F is pretty useful since I've got huge gigantic lists. For the egg group section, make sure you're looking for the basic breedable Pokemon for that line (Pikachu for the Pichu line, Deino for the Deino line, etc.)

Incompatible: "The two Pokémon aren't interested in frolicking at all."
★ No eggs will ever be produced.

APH Mafia Game Idea

Story/Background:
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Why are you guys fighting again? The last world war just ended a few decades ago! …What? You guys are fighting to see who invades the most vital regions? Your two teams are really unbalanced in terms of number, you know.

Oh, some of you seem to be more skilled than others. Special powers? Sure… Just don’t maim each other too badly. Some of you clearly aren’t fighters; look at that guy already running away! Well, good luck, I guess…

Rules/Guidelines
✦ Standard Mafia and VDex rules apply.
✦ Each phase will last approximately 24 hours – I will try my best to get each phase on-time~
✦ No starting arguments in-thread please~ If you have a problem, either take it to PMs or PM me, and I will deal with it as I see fit. Even if you're in the right, please refrain from arguments in-thread!
✦ Not a concrete requirement, but this Mafia was made with a lot of coordination in mind, so please be at least willing to give PM alliances a chance if you'd like to play!

Mafia/Axis:
✦ North Italy: Italy doesn’t boast strength… or intelligence… or bravery. But what he does have, though, is a lot of pasta and great speed to retreat with. Twice in the game, Italy can wave his white flag, tricking the enemy into thinking that he has surrendered. Every single action directed at him that night will fail.

✦ Germany: Uh-oh, the U-boats are back again. Germany has three extra kills in the game, and if he targets a protected country, his submarines have a 50% chance of bypassing the protection and hitting regardless!

✦ Japan: Japan has two computers in his control room for this game. One of them tells him the countries who acted at night every night. The other faces outwards, and Japan can project any image onto the screen, depending on what he wants. When Japan is investigated, he will appear as any role of his choice. If he’s defeated, however, the machine ceases to function and he will be outed as Japan.

✦ Russia: Why are you on their side again? Don’t you remember what happened in WWII? Once per night, Russia can intimidate another player. That player will be unable to use his/her night action. He can also choose to partition Poland once, any time in the game, but that bumps his intimidation to once every two nights.

✦ Belarus: Belarus looks like a sweet girl, though she really is rather scary, isn’t she? All the enemies look kind of frightened… Once in the game, Belarus can use her scary face to jumble up some night actions made by the Allies. The RNG will decide who England, France, Austria and Hungary targets, if they act. Unfortunately, the scary face also sends Russia running in terror, and he won’t be able to use his night action for two nights (this one and the next).

✦ Latvia: I thought you wanted to be neutral? Wait, what’s that? Oh, Russia dragged you into this? My condolences. Hey, but if you want to be part of this team, you need to stop crying! Latvia is a pretty cute kid, and his timid demeanor gives his opponents a false sense of safety. Twice in the game, Latvia can investigate anyone of his choice and find out his/her role. If Russia is defeated before him and Germany is still alive, Latvia is taken under protection of Germany, giving up his remaining powers if any and boosting Germany’s U-boat success ratio by 10% x each remaining power.

--------------------------------------------------------

Innocents/Allies:
✦ America: America is the HEROOOOO! And heroes always appear at the last moment, you see. Until Day 4, America will be powerless. Starting then, though, America will be able to find out one innocent role per night and influence one vote per day! (E.g. America will send me a PM saying “I want to know who England is” and I will tell them which player England is.)

✦ England: England’s a pretty good spy, and though he does get discovered sometimes, he’s great at escaping the country in question too. Once per Night phase, England can investigate a player and find out their role. Also, just because he and France are on the same side this time doesn’t make them any better friends. If France is ever killed/lynched, England gloats and gets one extra use of his power the next night (he can investigate two people).

✦ France: France has… therapeutic powers? Really? Are you sure that’s not just… alright, never mind. Once per night phase, France can protect a player from all kills made by either side. If England is ever killed/lynched, France gets one extra use of his power the next night (he can protect two people).

✦ China: China prizes variety! He also seems to have a lot of people in his country… You know, I’m sure you can wade through the billions of people and find someone who can do his allies’ jobs just as well as they can. If an Allied country is ever defeated, China can take over their role permanently, inheriting all/remaining uses of their power. He will not, however, inherit the country's relationship with any others.

✦ Canada: Who are you again? You’re not America… right? Canada kind of fades from everyone’s minds naturally, it seems, but it’s pretty advantageous in a situation like this. Twice per game, Canada can sit completely unnoticed by everyone else. Any and all actions directed at Canada that night will fail, as the enemy will apparently forget who they were planning to target. Germany still has a 50% chance of remembering though.

✦ Austria: Austria and Hungary used to be together, and they’ll know each other’s names at the beginning of the game. When Hungary is defeated, Austria will lose one use of his power. Three times per game, Austria can play Chopin’s Nocturne on his piano, lulling a player to sleep and preventing them from using their night action that night.

✦ Hungary: Hungary has her trusty frying pan ready to deter all foreign threats, especially that Prussia. Three times during the night in the entire game, she can bonk someone over the head with her pan, making them disoriented – they will not be able to explain their vote nor participate in discussion the next day. She will also know Austria’s identity. Her frying pan has one auto-direct use – if Prussia targets Austria, he will succeed, but he will also automatically get hit on the head – at no cost to the three uses.

✦ Spain: Not only optimistic, but his attitude makes it easy for him to make friends! At any point in the game, Spain will be able to send messages to any other member containing any information he wishes, without disclosing his name if he wishes, through the host. Do note, however, the recipient of the message will not be allowed to reply through the host.

✦ South Italy: Romano isn’t very strong, but he does seem to have a lot of countries babying him… If Romano is ever targeted at night, there is a 50% chance his allies will retaliate and take down whoever sent in the night action to defeat him. If he is ever lynched, the first voter will also have a 50% chance of being defeated.

✦ Poland: No matter how many times Poland is beaten down, he’ll always rise up like a phoenix! Twice per game, if Poland is killed/lynched/partitioned, he will have a 75% chance of coming back to life, and it will show up as a failed kill.

✦ Greece: Slow and steady wins the race, eh? And speaking of races, Greece was the original site for the Olympics! Once in the game, Greece can tell everyone to stop fighting and instead play sports together. The normal kill/lynch that day will not happen, though all other powers will still be usable. If Turkey is defeated, Greece can use this power again.

✦ Turkey: Three times in the game, Turkey TAKES OFF HIS MASK. The horror it inflicts upon his unfortunate opponent causes them to surrender automatically. (/cough, basically the Vigilante role, but a little more dramatic) If Greece is defeated, Turkey gains one extra kill.

✦ Lithuania: Lithuania and Poland used to be a commonwealth; if Poland is ever targeted by any killing action, Lithuania will always be alerted and can choose to send out an army to protect Poland, at 50% chance of success. If it's Prussia targeting Poland, it'll be 100% success of protection. If it is Russia’s partitioning that he manages to block, however, he will be intimidated and will receive no further alerts.

✦ Sweden: Sweden looks… so intimidating! What he says goes, even if he doesn’t mean to be super scary all the time. In addition to being able to decide which way a tied lynch falls, he can also jump in front of another player and protect them from all harm twice in the game, during the night. The protected player would be too scared to move from behind Sweden, though, and will not be able to use their night action.

✦ Finland: Santa? Hey look, it’s Santa Claus! Twice per game, Finland can choose a player and give him/her an early Christmas present. If he/she has a limited-use action, one use will be restored. If he/she has an unlimited-use action, nothing will happen, but the target will be able to read the gift tag and see who the present is from. Also, he's currently traveling with Sweden, and though he knows Sweden means well, his scary face can be a bit nerve-wracking! If Sweden ever protects Finland, instead of not being able to use his power that night, Finland will lose a use of his power instead.

✦ Prussia: HE WILL INVADE YOUR VITAL REGIONS Does he really belong on this side? I don’t think he cares so much about the team, to be honest. Prussia also gets three night kills to use as he pleases. If one of those three happens to hit Austria, Prussia wins a separate ORE-SAMA victory. If he hits Lithuania or Hungary, he is instead defeated and loses one extra remaining power.

-------------------------------------------------------

Neutral Parties:
✦ Switzerland: The true neutral, Switzerland boasts a long history in the banking industry and delicious chocolate. Twice in the game, Switzerland can pick a target and freeze all the accounts from that country, taking away all remaining uses of their special powers. Note that even unlimited-use powers will be frozen and that passive powers will still happen. Switzerland wins if he is alive by the end of the game or if he and Liechtenstein are last two remaining.

✦ Liechtenstein: Liechtenstein is a tiny protectorate of Switzerland’s. If Switzerland is ever targeted, Liechtenstein can choose to protect him at the cost of her own life. If she is targeted before Switzerland, the rage of Switzerland will be upon the person who attacked her (random Axis member for a kill, first voter for a lynch) and they will be defeated along with her. Liechtenstein wins only if she and Switzerland are both alive by the end of the game.

✦ Sealand: It’s Sea-kun! Wait… you’re not even a nation! You can’t join our fight! Go stand on the sidelines and watch! Every night, Sealand will find out the roles that acted each night, in the order that the actions were sent to the host. If he can figure out 15 out of the 24 other players/roles and send it to the host, he will gain a separate victory. More importantly, the Allies will acknowledge him as a real nation! He’ll then join in the Allies as a vanilla townie with a lot of information. Sealand can potentially win two victories in this game, his own and the Allies’.

Today, I bring to you the story of this young Corsola that I have recently acquired from a traveler friend of mine.

Image
When he started out, he was no more than a small, pale coral-colored egg, slightly rough to the touch and bearing the scent of the sea breeze. His parents, my friend explained, were very successful Water types; the father came from a recently-emerged lineage of Pokemon with special temperaments, with the result that he was prone to using the move Bubble a lot more than usual, especially since he had a short fuse and seemed to often be in an agitated state. The mother was the most beautiful Corsola in her entire village, because her coloring seemed to be much more vibrant than that of average Corsola, even though she wasn't shiny.

As a result of these successes, the friend said, this yet-to-be-hatched Corsola's parents had high expectations for their children. They were expected to inherit their father's tendency to blow bubbles and excel at their respective fields. Seafoam Islands, apparently, was the best place to raise young Corsola, since the fresh salt air and clear, cool waters will be the best welcome service a baby could receive upon entering this world.

Thus, armed with such information, I headed there, on a long and arduous journey that brought me from the mountains of Blackthorn over to the ports of Olivine, there by ship to Vermilion, and then south through Cinnabar to the spot referred to.

And it appears that the parents were right; Seafoam Islands was beautiful, and I can only imagine the wonder a baby Corsola would feel if their first sight of the world was such calming white sands and blue waters. Therefore, I sat down and waited for it to hatch. It didn't take too long, and soon the shell cracked...

Image

The small male Corsola emerged, shaking the pieces of shell free from his body and beginning to take unsteady steps towards the sea. Afraid that he may be swept away by the waves, I call out to him. "Come here," I said, as gently as possible as he was only a newborn, "Don't go in the sea, you can come into one of these tidepools."

The Corsola looked over, and I was certain he was going to toddle over to me next. Instead, to my horror, he squeezed his eyes shut, stuck out his tongue at me, and made the most interesting face I had ever seen on a Corsola in all my travels. He then began to rush towards me, and before I knew it his body had collided with the side of my head! My little baby Corsola had kicked me!

Shocked by this defiant move, I stood motionless and gaping as he then turned and walked back into the sea, proving himself quite adept at anchoring to the sand so as not to be swept away. At that moment, it occured to me that Rufio would be a good name for him. The Corsola certainly had the temperament to become a ruffian, and perhaps a tough name will help him gain more respect among other Corsola?

However, when I was required to fill the trainer register for the newborn Rufio later that day, my aching head reminded me of the incident that had occured at the beach. Frustrated, I began to draw a picture where the line of the nickname was supposed to go. I do not boast of artistic talent, but my drawing ended up being vaguely recognizable as a face kicking another face. The lady at the registration desk raised an eyebrow and asked me if I was sure I wanted to name my Corsola... that drawing. I said yes; I would call him Rufio, but his official nickname will forever document the memory of his unruly first meeting with me.

I do not know what lies in Rufio's future, nor do I know whether I have the necessary skills to train such a defiant young Corsola, but I shall try my best. One day, I hope to be able to present him to his successful parents and have them be impressed at how far he's grown.

Yup, I know I'm bad at updating this, but at least the layout's pretty now, right? It took me a few days to finish it, which is why I haven't been writing journal posts all week. Maybe I should make this into a weekly-update thing, since I know I'm not going to be good about posting every day or anything, and because not that much happens in a day on VDex for me~

Anyway, onto what I did these few days~ Firstly, I finally caved to my desire to have more money and auctioned off my DEA Smeargle! Sol AB'd it with a GB Player (\o/), 150k pure and 10 special natures. After I received the GBP, I immediately dashed around the land looking for good places to test it out. I managed to catch Image this little guy after refreshing a few times in Route 45, and then went off to Ecruteak City to refresh for Poliwags. I must say, the GB Player works quite well. I then lent it to Sicc to help her with Christmas hunting.

Speaking of Christmas hunting, a couple of us had the idea of setting up a Christmas wishlist thread to help friends better decide what to gift for Christmas, so I set it up here. The idea is to include some cheap/easy to hunt retros/items/shinies so that your friends know what to get you~ Hopefully everyone will post there and get in the early Christmas spirit~ >w<

As for the special natures department, I received a few new ones this week, including a u mad? Mareep that I bought from Bubblebeam and a Swanky Glameow from eleni. I also got a Trite Glameow from Sicc, in return for an EXTREME Growlithe that I hope I'll get to breeding soon! Notably, after I finished my OC/Character Goal section, I found the BADASS Female Absol REPLAY bred for me a while back. If anyone reading this has read Cage of Eden before, isn't this the perfect Miyauchi? >w< Ridiculously strong, complete badass, and weak to bug types. Anyway, I'm currently intensely fangirling over the series, which got infinitely better after the mangaka decided to focus less on horror and more on survival.

Anyway, that's all for the week! Perhaps I'll update more in a few days, but every Saturday seems good to me too. Anyhow, I'll open the journal up for posts as soon as I fill up the first page I guess XDD Thank you for reading!

While I did succeed in acquiring several new special natures over the past few days, mostly male, I will refrain from talking about them in favor of the... dun dun dunnnn... Absol Event that has been put in place!

Firstly, and this may come as a surprise to many people, Absol is my favorite Pokemon. Along with Flygon, I fell in love with them after watching the Jirachi Wishmaker movie as a youngling. And these Corrupt Absol look absolutely amazing. And the legendary dogs? My favorite trio as well. So I'm really excited for this event. >w<

That said, the appearance and catch rates are quite daunting! After several hours of refreshing, I managed to catch a boy and two girls Image, Image and Image, and ended up using all three of their ?ells to try my hand at a Raikou. No luck though; I managed to see a shiny Shadow Raikou, but a server error prevented the catch from going through, and now that we've hit GMT midnight, I believe the day is over and Entei is now in circulation.

I'll definitely keep trying though! All the sprites from this event are super awesome, and I can't wait to find more~ For my personal reference, I'm going to be looking for an Adamant/Bold/Brave Female Absol that "likes to fight," is "proud of its power," or "hates to lose." Please wish me luck as well! :D

Wow, what a week! I wasn't going to update until Saturday, but then I realized I'd have to write about a whole lot, and I'm pretty excited now so I figured why not?

First off, new Moonspeak natures! Got a Female Gallant Mareep from Kailanichan and a Cowardly Male Buneary from REPLAY, both for a Reserved Seel of the respective gender~ Also won a Male Carefree Tailow from Gerry for the same thing, though it's currently still in egg form and in Lav's party~ Currently, the breeding lists for Rogue Growlithe and Reserved Seel are both down to 1 each! Seems like the Trollcare has seen fit to shed some mercy on us ;A; Hopefully I'll be done with Rogue Growlithe by October 1st, because I should start working on my next super special project! <333

Next is the update on the Absol event! I currently have 4 normal Absol, 2 shinies, 2 Shadow Entei, 1 Shadow Suicune and 1 Shiny Shadow Raikou:

Image Image Image Image

Image Image Image Image

Which means I still want at least a Shiny Shadow Entei and Suicune and a normal Shadow Raikou, which is just 3 more! I currently have 2 ?ells activated, so I'm so close! Please wish me more luck as I refresh! >w<

Speaking of refreshing, the new patch is working well! At first it was so slow, but after Shiro tweaked it a bit, it became just the same as before *A* All I have to do is remember not to right click for the image url anymore, but use the Pokedex button instead :O

Anyway, I was refreshing in the Viridian Forest, so I could look for some Christmas presents for friends! I managed to skip past so many shiny Caterpie and Kakuna it wasn't even funny, but I did get a great load of retros and shinies for presents! Now that I'm done there, I've moved onto Hoenn to hunt Skitty, Nincada and Taillow~

Also, also, I finally found the filmed live on Broadway version of Rent again, which is what I'm using as my refresh companion right now~ A lot of people say that the original cast was better, but this version was the version I watched first so I'm more used to it! Eeee Roger :3 Also the Life Support Meeting song is forever my favorite part in the musical <3333 If you haven't watched Rent, I recommend it! It's really interesting and the songs are excellent~

And seeing as I've filled out the first page, which is what I'd been aiming for to begin with, I'll open up posts here! If there's anything you want to comment on or something you'd like to recommend I put in one of my Reserved posts, please feel free to leave a comment~ Thank you!
