i have 2 old sea maps stocked up from giveaways from awhile back, and wanted to use them to hunt mew. however, when i went to faraway island on the map via lilycove, nothing shows up? all i get is a screen similar to towns and/or areas with no pokemon around.

i was wondering if this was a bug, or if there was another condition besides just having the old sea map in my possession in order for mew to show up? thank you very much to whoever decides to answer this, i really appreciate it!

I believe it's because Mew is one of the many Pokemon currently roaming the maps. Not really sure if Mew will be removed from the maps before the site closes?

This can't be fixed - or rather, it should be fixable, but I don't know how. It's a failsafe that's in place to prevent people from losing their legendary items when they find a legendary on the map.
