While it might not count as love for Eccleston, here is my favorite doctor:

9th Doctor always was my favorite. <3 Though Tennant runs a really close second. Haven't seen Matt Smith yet, so I really can't give an opinion on him.

I think Matt Smith may be my favorite doctor, then again I used to say the same about Eccelston, and Tennant, really whoever is in the role at the times seems to be the best. They all bring a charm to it which you think is irreplaceable until you see the next guy, and realize that they bring there own amazing bit of charm.

But yeah can't wait till December, I tend to get a bit twitchy during these gaps.

I went nearly insane between Easter and November, even though I was executing a huge archive binge of Old Who at the time.

I am terribly excited about new season, aside from the fact that it's split into two but... one of my favourite authors has written an episode for it and it's the third episode, so I don't need to wait too long for it.
*is talking about episode three of the upcoming season, which is written by Neil Gaiman* :yay:

N-n-Neil Gaiman, this better be serious if it is, it is the greatest thing ever.

It's like the most awesome thing I've heard in a while. here's hoping he doesn't ruin it by doing an episode on daleks or something <.<

Am I the only one who finds Daleks adorable? >.> They fail to be menacing. (Well, except for the one in Dalek. The writers really went out of their way to show the destructive potential of a single Dalek, but then... every episode after that, the silly things never remember to shoot main characters.)

After the latest dalek episode, my friend started affectionately, calling them the rainbow brigade, this pretty much ruined them for me.

What's bad is that's how the original Daleks were, technicolor.

Personally, I like the Daleks. Ok, they may be harder to kill than Kenny, but hey, they're a trademark.

Wait, technicolor? I know you're talking about the movie Daleks but I just had to.

But, seriously, every canon series appearance of Daleks have used greys, blacks, whites, and golds when shot in color. (Except perhaps the 3rd Doctor stories. Those I haven't seen)
