Something about his movies, especially Castle in the Sky, that made me so attached to them. Same for anyone?

I've watched Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Princess Mononoke remains my favorite by far. I absolutely love Miyazaki films, but now that I think about it, I actually haven't seen that many....

I've seen most of Studio Ghibli's movies,minus their new one and that boring one about the lady who goes to a farm. :/
But my favorites are Whispers of the Heart and Nausicaa. I agree though, their movies just have certain magic to them.
Lately I think Studio Ghbi's movies are kind of bland... I hope Miyazaki-san can find a good replacement soon. All these new guys just aren't cutting it.

I haven't watched Spirited Away since I was a kid, but I just rewatched it with some friends last Friday and I was speechless. Such an amazing movie. And unlike most anime/anime movies, I'm actually okay with

shipping the badass guy and the helpless girl.

I remember watching Howl's Moving Castle with my mom a few years ago, but I totally forgot the plot.

It's funny because I like Chihiro more than Haku, which is usually the other way around for me. Haku has such a cute voice though ♥

You know what's really funny? I like No-Face better than Haku and Chihiro combined. No joke.

SOBS I LOOOOOOOVE NOFACE!!! If Haku/Chihiro wasn't so freaking adorable, he's totally take the flag as my favourite.

If you guys ever go to Japan, drop by the Ghibli Museum in outer Tokyo. It is MAGICAL!

There's nothing that I enjoy more than a Miyazaki movie. They make me feel so nostalgic for my childhood, oh man.

I've watched all of his movies and loved every single one of them. Spirited Away was the best, in my mind.

I haven't watched that many, but I enjoyed most of the ones I watched. I've seen... Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Ponyo, Nausicaa, Castle in the Sky and that one with that cat. Don't remember the name. xD;

I think my favourite would definitely be Nausicaa, but I also enjoyed Castle in the Sky. I don't know what, but something about the scenes of them on the floating castle just makes my heart beat fast. <3

It uh... was a little more than a "friendship" :c. Spirited Away was meant to make allusions to the old bath houses where the women that worked there were prostitutes. and this isn't just a wacky conspiracy theory either. look it up.
My childhood was ruined, too. ;n;
