(I see this on facebook and the like and I really like the idea.)
Available for XY and ORAS when it comes out.We will be making our own gym leaders on Vdex!
Once selected, each member will choose a monotype to use. They can choose any pokemon (with few restrictions) to be on their team.
*The pokemon may be duel type
*There can be no repeats in held items or pokemon/lines
*No legendary pokemon will be allowed.
*Max of one pseudo-legendary
pokemon per team.
So, to participate, you must show your worth as a gym leader! fight me, the champion, for a spot on the monotype gym team. You are not restricted to one type when challenging for a position with me here and may challenge me as many times as you would like. If you succeed in defeating me or simply impress me (as in you don't have to win), you will receive a spot as a Gym Leader!
There are limited spots with only 18 types to claim. The quicker you get a spot, the more options that you have.
The gym leaders reign over their type, and battle to keep their title. The challenger battles the gym leader with their own monotype team of the same type to attempt to take their place. (as in, if you want to be a water monotype gym leader, you must battle a water gym leader using a water team.)
* Defeating a gym leader 3 times gives you their spot.
* records will be kept of wins.
* Gym Leaders can choose to give a prize upon defeat.
Challengers may have multiple teams for different monotype challenges. However, you can only be a gym leader for one type. Once you defeat a gym leader 3 times, your other monotype challenge history disappears.
Once you are gym leader, you may challenge other gym leaders for fun (or prizes determined by the two of you) or work to defeat the champion.
*You may only challenge the champion for their spot if you are a gym leader.
*Champions who are defeated switch titles with the person who defeated them (along with their monotype)
*Champion must be defeated 3/5 times to claim the spot.
* As champion, you are not bound to a single type.Everyone:
*After each battle, SAVE THE BATTLE VIDEO! This is the proof of your victory. If there is a dispute over who won (or may have cheated), this is how you end the dispute. It is your responsibility to save the video.
