[b]Why do you think you have the qualities to be a good NUZLOCKER (not really necessary xP ):[/b]  #1 - Nuzlocke ChampionshipQuote:  PLEASE READ THE WHOLE LAYOUT OF THE EVENT GUYS ;PTHE LONG WAITED EVENT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!! 8DCurrent Round: ROUND #2:The rules are simple: all you have to do is pick a Pokemon game and start NUZLOCKING. Be it Red, Yellow, Silver, Ruby, White, it doesn’t matter – all you have to do, is finish it within the deadline. The basic rules of this NUZLOCKING EVENT are the following: Quote: - Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the box.
- The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. In older versions though (1st Gen Versions and FR/LG are the only ones I remember now), you can only catch Pokemon after doing a sidequest (the Oak Parcel) - in those versions, from the moment you complete the refered quest, you can catch the Pokemon you want, even in the Routes you already passed.
- If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the Pokémon you find first didn’t faint and if it is a Pokémon you already have, you can seek another one.
- You are only allowed to carry x5 of a specific battle item or HP restore item. However, you are not allowed to use HP Restore items during a battle! You can use it AFTER the battle, for example, when you don't want to bother going to a PokeCenter, or you are in the PokeLeague. You can instead choose to give an hold item to a Pokemon.
- You can use HM's and TM's.
- You can freely use the PokéCenter.
- You can use "gift" Pokemon - however, in places such as the gamecorner, you can only buy one Pokemon.
- Every Pokémon must be nicknamed.
- No using legendaries.
- No Master Balls.
- For the ones using Roms, please don't use the speed-up option, because there are people who actually use the original cartridges. It's boring as hell, I know, but please try you guys. ;)
- You must start from the BEGGINING. If you pick up an on-going run and finish it and I catch you, you'll be automatically disqualified.
- NO CHEATING (please guys, you are suposed to have fun doing this... don't spoil your fun and other people's fun OK? ) However, there’s a catch: the winner isn’t the one who finishes first (cuz that would be, well, unfair, due to the differences between versions). The winner will be instead found by judging your Nuzlocke skills: For each category, there will be 5 contestants that’ll get points. The others… well, good luck on the remaining categories. ;P THE SKILLS:THE GATHERER:
The one o catches more Pokemon, gets the points.Quote: First – 5 ; Second – 4 ; Third – 3 ; Fourth – 2 ; Fifth – 1 RIP:
The one who gets the least amount of deaths in his/her team, gets the points.Quote: First – 10 ; Second – 8 ; Third – 6 ; Fourth – 3 ; Fifth – 1 WILD IMAGINATION:
The more original the names of the Pokemon are, the more points you get.Quote: First – 5 ; Second – 4 ; Third – 3 ; Fourth – 2 ; Fifth – 1 GRINDER:
The one whose team has the highest medium level at the end of the run on his/her Hall of Fame Team, wins. If you don't happen to reach the PokeLeague until the Deadline, you'll get +1 for this skill.Quote: First – 5 ; Second – 4 ; Third – 3 ; Fourth – 2 ; Fifth – 1 U MAD?:

Just for the lulz really, and to give some extra points to those who sadly don't make it to the League. However, it's also a way to see if you can save your money and still do the right choices (wich would somehow imply that you didn't use your money to buy tons of HP Restore items or something xDD ).
The one who ends the Runs with the greatest ammount of cash wins. Grab your piggy banks!Quote: First – 5 ; Second – 4 ; Third – 3 ; Fourth – 2 ; Fifth – 1 THE LEGEND SLAYER:
You get +1 point for each Legend you terminate! OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU:
This is awarded to the one who actually manages to get a shiny during the NUZLOCKE run. The prize is +15 points. SPECIAL POKEMON: For each generation, I’m going to choose a random non-legendary final stage Pokemon. If the contestant happens to take it to the Pokemon league, extra points will be added. For versions such as Platinum, or Black, and so on, the Pokemon can’t be “accumulated” . For example:Quote: The Pokemon I got in the random were, for instance, Weezing, Houndoom, Ludicolo, Abomasnow and Scolipede.
You pick a PlatinumLocke.
In that NUZLOCKE run, you happen to take a Weezing and an Abomasnow to the League - you only get points for the Abomasnow, not for both Pokemon. Get it? ;P
If you don't happen to reach the PokeLeague until the Deadline, you'll get +1 for this skill.
If you happen to pick the right Pokemon, you’ll get +10 points. ELEMENTAL GAMBLE:
You'll just have to be lucky again. At the begging of each Round, I'll randomly choose a starter type (water, fire or grass). If you happen to have choosen the type that I got,you'll get +5 points. The others will end up with +1 point.
For those making YellowRuns, you'll get +5 points for your Pikachu ;) (since he's the only starter available) GENDER WARS:
Once again, this involves luck.
I'll pick between the 2 genders, male or female. For example, if you happen to have caught more males than females, and the gender that I got in the random pick was MALE, you get +5 points. Same goes to female. If you didn't get the +5 points, you'll get +1 instead. In what concerns Genderless Pokemon, if you happen to have more of these, you'll always get +2 points. ARE U A WIZURD? D8
It works in a similar way to the random Pokemon. Each Round I'll pick up a random Pokemon game. Every game might be chosen (even Green version ;D ). If you happen to have chosen the lucky version, you'll get +10 extra points. UR A QUITER, MATE...:
You get a 5 point deduction if you aren't able to beat the Elite4 until the deadline. You get a 10 point deduction if you decide to drop the NUZLOCKE run and give up. You get a 20(!) point deduction if you get a gameover before reaching the League. Additionally, you get a 1 point deduction, if you aren't able to finish the run because of technical reasons (console/cartridge failure, because I know that specially the older gears are kinda sentimental x) ) - don't take advantage of this though, that's cheating. You loose a year of life everytime you cheat. LATE ARRIVAL:
You get a 5 point deduction if you enter in the middle of the Round. As stated below, in order to join without getting this penalty, you must say you are going to join beforehand, be it by posting here ot via PM. ;P Quote: Remember that you have to give us feedback on your NUZLOCKE run constantly.
This means that each Pokemon you get/loose, each item you find/buy, the nicknames of the Pokemons, the team you take to the League and other relevant aspects such as the development of the run itself (the time you reach certain cities for example) must be posted here in order for you to get points! And remember: please don't cheat - a kitten dies everytime you do so... :( For each round, there’ll be some prizes, those being the actual Pokemon from the original Webcomic. The prizes are nothing special really, just something so that you can't say "I'm doing this for nothing...." ;P There's a catch however: as suggested, if you win a Prize in one Round, you won't be able to get a Pokemon Prize in the following Round - the prize will go to the second placed contestant. Do remember that even if you win and still don't get a Pokemon Prize, you still gather points (which will be useful at the end of all Rounds, to announce the GRAND WINNER). The thing is the following: This awesome user and Proud Club Member is currently making is own Nuzlocke Run layout, by editing some settings, history and Events in his Emerald Version, so he can someday Nuzlocke it and see how well he does! Why do you think you have the qualities to be a good NUZLOCKER (not really necessary xP ): I completed every Nuzlocke challenge I did with the following rules;
* Every Nuzlocke challenge must include Tomio and Suishou as my starting pokemon, which I must catch in the wild at lvl 1. (only instance of a action replay code)
* Any pokemon that faints is dead, and can never be used again.
* I may only catch the first encounter in a new area; no redos or retries.
* If I white out, Its a game over and I have to start again, regardless of progress.
* Only being able to use Pokemon Centres and attacks to heal; nothing else.
* I can only use the Pokemon centre every time a pokemon levels up twice.
* I can only buy 5 pokeballs at the latest storyline town when I FIRST entered it.

Update on Pokemon white Nuzlocke.
Pokemon
Suishou the Espeon - lvl 37
Tomio the Umbreon - lvl 34
Rocky the Gantoru - lvl 31
Angel the Lepardas - lvl 30
Jive the Kenhorou - lvl 32
Sparky the Zeburaika - lvl 30
I destroyed the 5th Gym using Rocky the Gantoru and Suishou the Espeon.
I defeated Waruvile easily with Rocky's strength, and Rocky managed to beat Doryuzu by the skin of his nose.
When Yacon brought out Gamagaru, I immediately switched for Suishou; who managed to beat the Gamagaru with only two attacks. (Psybeam)
So far, I didn't lose a single member of my team.

Cool! :D I already knew PurpleKecleon from DA, she does awsome pokemon art. She also entered in an event hosted at DA, the Ultimate Battle Frontier (which is AWESOME), which I followed (and still follow from time to time) closelly. ...Are you PurpleKecleon?1... Owo' _________________

Lyn - Female, Quirky Combusken - Lvl. 18
Lance - Male, Adamant Poochyena - Lvl. 13
Ewan - Male, Modest Beautifly - Lvl. 18
Serra - Female, Relaxed Abra - Lvl. 7
Wil - Male, Relaxed Whismur - Lvl. 6
Oswin - Male, Naive Makuhita - Lvl. 8
Currently working my way up to the second gym and leveling up my three new Pokemon~

Why do you think you have the qualities to be a good NUZLOCKER (not really necessary xP ): These are my rules:
Only items found are used
The first Pokemon in the area is caught. No duplicate Pokemon, no second chances. No Pokeballs? Tough Blast.
Game over=complete restart regardless of progress
All Pokemon killed will be put in a box titled FAILURES.
If that box is filled, the game is restarted, regardless of progress.
