I've been experimenting with making Zelda characters out of Pokemon for a while now, but recently I've gotten a bit better at it (in my opinion anyway; I've still got some work to do!), but I'd like to know what other people think of them. Here's my gallery so far:

Blaziken as Ocarina of Time Link: Image
Emboar in the style of Wind Waker Ganondorf: Image
Gardevoir as Zelda: Image
Gallade as Sheik: Image
Lopunny as Malon: Image
Meowth as Wind Waker Link: Image
Politoed as Zephos: Image
Mr. Mime as Tingle: Image

Combusken as Young Link and Grovyle as Skull Kid: Image

I'd like to know what you all think of them! Also, any suggestions for future works on this project would be appreciated as well. :>

Those sprites are so beautiful. The Emboar looks so cool and the Zeldavoir is beautiful.
The Blaziken cool too. Idk, but maybe just me, the "skirt" thing (lol) looks too big and somewhat strange, maybe because of the elephantis feet?

I looove the Zelda gardevoir! Maybe you can change her hair to blonde too to match?

As for the skirt on the BlaziLink, you can make it shorter (ride up higher on the leg) so it won't look as girly?

Thank you both! :>

I had the skirt part of the tunic shorter at first, and trust me, longer looks better. The reason for this is the angle at which Blaziken is standing, and it is not one that works with wearing a skirt. I do know what you mean, though, it looks strange, but I think it's mostly because of the leggings on Blaziken's massive legs, and then him having no shoes. Maybe it'd be better without leggings, but part of me doesn't want to remove them, because they just... go with the outfit. xD

But hmm, if you both think it's too long, I'll shrink it down and post it here for your thoughts on it in about 15-20 minutes. :>

Edit: Also @ Alex - I wanted to keep the Pokemon themselves as true to their in-game sprite as possible, and have it more as cosplay type sprites, so I didn't want to change their fundamental colors or body.

Edit2: Here it is: Image

I dunno, now that I see it, I kinda agree with you guys? Hmm... I'll wait for more input on which looks better. Also, next post will be Young Link Combusken, and if I do say so myself, I made a pretty badass replica of the Razor Sword :3

Sorry for the double post, but I'm gonna head on to be in a few minutes. I don't think this sprite is finished (because I tend to edit every "finished" sprite about 15 times before I leave it alone), but I'm too tired to mess with it anymore tonight. Tell me what you think? c:

The BlaziLink looks better now imo.
The CombusLink is not done? But it looks perfect already. :O

I love these so much. o3o

I think oddish would make a good kikwi from skyward sword. Or maybe a bulbasaur...
Psyduck would probably make a good groose... and maybe ho-oh for a loftwing? Oh! and noctowl for ocarina of time kaepora baebora. :)

Just suggestions. :P
Zelda/pokemon crossover game needs to happen now!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback, and I'll keep those in mind for possible future projects! Until then, here's my newest work: Malonpunny! Image

What do you think? c:

Haha these are great.
Lunatone would literally be the best Moon from Majoras Mask haha

Post subject:  Re: Zelda/Pokemon Crossover Sprites

If you look at the moon, it's pretty obvious (I think) that it began as a Lunatone, but I went on to see if I could make it into the full moon from Majora's Mask, and it turns out I could c:

Thanks for the support, guys, I really appreciate it! I've been taking a break from it for a while, but inspiration struck again! Introducing, Wind Waker Link:

What do you think? :>

Edit: So I was talkin' to a buddy of mine, joking that Froakie's gonna evolve into Zephos from Wind Waker, when he said that Zephos looked more like Politoed sitting on Legendary Genie Cloud. Inspiration struck, and here we have ZephoToed:

Thoughts?

Well, it's been just about a year, and I doubt anyone's still interested, but I added a new sprite to this series:

I think this crossover fits on many levels, with Mr. Mime becoming a Fairy type, and both characters being creepy as hell.

Hope you guys like it! :)
